| These are stones I use in divination. I made my own, and you can easily do the same, should you wish. I chose quartz to make my divination stones, but these stones can be made from whatever stone sings for you.
I named my divination stones Seun Stones, because of the meaning of the old word seun.
You need to choose two stones, of different colours, but of the same shape, size, weight, and "feel". As both clear quartz and amethyst belong to the quartz family, they have a slightly greasy feel so ideally you can't tell the difference between the stones until you look at the colour. The main reason, however, that I chose quartz is because it is a magical stone of divination and clairvoyance and is the stone that introduces the stars to the soul.

Amethyst invites selfless love and encourages spirit. This beautiful stone helps you to clear and control your mind and emotions, so you can centre, balance and trust your intuition. Your goals become clearer, more realistic & easier to achieve.
If you wish to use your seun stones for divination, hold your pouch of seun stones in your hands as you meditate on the situation requiring an answer. Calmly and carefully examine your potential actions and possible results. Be sure to phrase your question carefully, as the clarity and strength of your answer depends on how clearly you put your question to your seun stones.
When you are ready, pick one stone, sight unseen, from your pouch. My clear quartz, or light stone, means “yes”, “the time is fortunate for action now”. My amethyst, or dark stone, means “no”, “wait”, “the time is not yet right”, or “patience is needed for a good outcome”.
The way to find out what your own stones mean is to ask them, much as you calibrate a pendulum before you begin working with it. Hold one of your stones in your hand, and ask it, "do you mean yes"? The stone will let you know what meaning it holds.
Carry your seun stones close to you, so that they may bond with you and help to protect and guide you on your journey. Use a pouch made from natural materials to protect your seun stones from accidental damage so your seun stones can travel safely.
Regularly cleanse your stones by bathing them in moving water. While a stream or the ocean is ideal, a bathroom tap may be more practical. It’s more important to clear and clean your seun stones regularly rather than wait for the ideal location.
You may like to give your seun stones an overnight holiday in moonlight, by placing them in a bowl of water and leaving them to bathe in moonlight once a month.
You’ll find your seun stones are revitalised and the crystal water will be much appreciated by your houseplants (provided your pets don’t drink it first).
Most of all, enjoy your seun stones as much as they will enjoy living with you. The more you laugh, and the more fun you have with your stones, the more they will enjoy working with and for you.
With love, light and laughter
