Rescuing wildlife

Be prepared when you find injured, sick or orphaned animals. To protect you as well as the animal, you will need a pillow case or a hessian bag and a pair of leather gloves. You could keep essential supplies in the back of your car, just in case you need them.

If you find an injured animal, remember:

  • it is a wild animal - approach with caution
  • keep it warm, dark and quiet (but never in the boot of your car)
  • keep it safe from children and domestic pets.

Call us at Eagles Nest to discuss the best treatment for the animal. We will be happy to help.
