This is the time (about 14 days) when the Moon is growing smaller, between the Full Moon and the Dark Moon. It is the time of the Dark Maiden.
It is a time for work that is designed to diminish, i.e. to lose bad habits, to diet, to lessen stress or depression, to decrease the size of a tumour or a wart , to bind another from doing harm.
Remember, as you bind, so are you bound.
If you don’t want to decrease your power, don’t try to take power from someone else by binding another. This is a difficult choice that only you can make. If, for example, you have knowledge of a repeat offender rapist or a paedophile, only you can choose whether you choose to limit your power because you choose to bind the power of the wrongdoer.
As with everything in magic, it’s entirely your choice.
Note also that the last three days of this time of the Waning Moon are erratic to say the least. You need to be very careful to maintain your focus as you work magic.
Personally, I think it’s a good time to have a break, to give yourself time-out from rituals and magic. As above, so below - and too much magic can sometimes be too much of a good thing. If you’ve been living a magical month, you may feel that you have a bout of ritual indigestion. These three days can be your magical equivalent of giving your body a fast to rest your system.
