First, clear and still your mind. When you are calm, place your hands gassho (prayer position) and say the Five Principles out loud. Slowly open your hands to the Universe and feel the power flow in. Offer this power to yourself for healing, by placing your hands on your own body. Choose a part of your body that you feel needs an energy boost, or, if you wish, you may choose a chakra point for this exercise. You will feel the energy flow to the area you have chosen. This is Reiki and this is how easy Reiki is to call and to use. When you are finished, brush any excess energy off your hands to clear them and thank the Universe for sharing the gift.
