When you take the time to look, you will find perfect moments in every day.

Although it is only good manners to thank the Universe for the blessings you receive, when you do you could just be surprised by how quickly the Universe responds. My Universe has an endless supply of energy with which to manifest an abundance of blessings in my life. The problem is that, like most of us, sometimes I set limits on abundance by turning up with a drinking straw instead of a fire hose to plug in to the source.

But then, we humans are odd creatures. We choose to believe that to be happy and grateful is childish; to be truly adult we must expect the worst, frown, complain, and carefully check the teeth of every gift horse – yet if we are honest most of us could find something to be grateful for, something we can honestly thank the Universe for providing. Consider, if you will:

• If you woke up this morning with more health than illness, you are more blessed than a million people who won’t survive this week.
• If you can attend a religious gathering without fear of being gaoled you are more blessed than almost three billion people in the world.
• If you have food in a refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof over your head and a place to sleep, you are richer than 75% of this world.
• If you have money in the bank and in your wallet and spare change in a dish someplace, you are among the top 8% of the world’s wealthy.

Isn't perspective a wonderful thing?

One of the simplest rules of the Universe is where attention goes, energy flows. To create more of what you like in your life, just think about what you like and be grateful for it. Do you have friends? Family? Food? Fun? Freedom?

Don’t be fooled into focusing only on material possessions. You are greater than just the material. You are a spiritual being, wearing a human body to survive on this planet just as astronauts wear a space suit to survive.

As a spiritual person, if you really look you can see the abundance of the Universe in every part of your life.

Best of all, by taking the time to acknowledge your blessings each day, you can become a magnet for even further abundance because you are using the energy of your thoughts to welcome even more prosperity and plenty in your life. And that is exactly what you will attract.
